Excellent as an intermediate step before P1500–P2000 – for lightly reducing orange peel, levelling small imperfections in clear coat or filler and preparing the surface before polishing. Advice & tips for wet sanding

• Before use, soak the paper for 5–10 minutes in water. A few drops of car shampoo can reduce friction.
• Sand with light to medium pressure; check the sanding pattern regularly and wipe/rinse the surface during work.
• For flat areas, use a sanding block or soft interface to reduce the risk of waves and deep scratches.
• Recommended steps: P1000 → P1200 → P1500 → P2000/2500 → P3000 before polishing.
• For local repairs, keep the sanded area as small as possible and protect panel edges with masking tape.
• Change the water often and rinse the paper regularly to maintain an even sanding pattern.
