HB BODY F255 BODYALU Aluminium Polyester Body Filler - 250 g
HB BODY F255 BODYALU is a two-component polyester body filler containing aluminium particles, designed for repairs to metal, wood and polyester surfaces. It offers excellent filling properties, fast drying and easy sanding.
The aluminium particles increase resistance to elevated temperatures, mechanical stress and vibration. This makes the filler particularly suitable for automotive body repairs and other applications requiring a strong and durable filler layer.

Suitable surfaces

Application
- Thoroughly sand the repair area with a suitable abrasive.
- Remove dust, then clean, degrease and fully dry the surface.
- Mix 100 parts filler with 2–3 parts BPO paste hardener.
- Mix both components thoroughly until a uniform consistency is achieved.
- Apply with a spreader before the mixture begins to harden.
- After curing, dry sand with P80–P120 abrasive paper.
- Before painting, overcoat with a suitable acrylic primer or filler.

- Pot life: approximately 4–5 minutes at 23 °C
- Drying time: approximately 20–30 minutes at 23 °C
- Infrared drying: approximately 5–8 minutes
- Recommended dry sanding: P80–P120

- Solid content: approximately 84%
Important instructions
- Do not add more than 3% hardener – excessive hardener may cause staining of the subsequent paint finish.
- Do not apply over etch primer, wash primer, 1K filler, TPA substrates or soft old paintwork.
- Minimum application temperature: +5 °C.
- Sanding: the manufacturer recommends dry sanding only.
