Acrylic Thinner HB BODY 740 – Normal, 1 l (2884)

Description

HB BODY 740 Acrylic Thinner – Normal (1 l) is a universal acrylic thinner designed for thinning our BC basecoats and acrylic clear coats when applied with a spray gun. It supports even flow-out, helps reduce orange peel and makes it easier to achieve a smooth finish under standard painting conditions (approx. 18–25 °C).

Recommended use

• BC basecoats for spray gun: thin according to the technical data sheet of the specific paint, typically 1:1 to 2:1 = paint:thinner.
• Special-effect paints for spray gun, e.g. Flip-Flop / Chameleon: usually 1:1; always follow the TDS of the specific paint.
• Acrylic clear coats for spray gun: usually 0–10% thinner, depending on the TDS and temperature conditions.

Important notes

• Not intended for aerosols or spray cans. Spray paints are ready to use and must not be thinned.
• Do not use as a degreaser. Use a dedicated surface cleaner or degreasing product for surface preparation.
• Always follow the technical data sheet of the specific paint or clear coat and adjust the thinning ratio according to temperature and surface size.
• Flammable product – work in a well-ventilated area, away from ignition sources and with suitable personal protective equipment.
