Description

2K PRO is a professional matte 2K clear coat designed for a precise final appearance and long-lasting protection. Thanks to the integrated hardener, it cures into a durable, non-reflective surface suitable for exterior and interior use. It is ideal for clear coating effect paints (Chameleon, pearls), basecoat and topcoat systems, and minor repair work.

How to use the paint

  • Shake for 2 minutes → activate the hardener (pin at the bottom) → shake again for 2 minutes, then leave to stand for 15 minutes.
  • Application: 15–25 cm from the surface, 1–2 coats, allow to flash off for 10–15 minutes between coats.
  • Conditions: 18–25 °C, low humidity; always carry out a test spray first.
  • Coverage: approx. 0.5–0.75 m² / 400 ml (depending on film thickness).
  • Pot life after activation: approx. 24 h (at 20 °C).

Substrate compatibility (selection):

  • Waterborne and solvent-based coating systems (recoatable according to the manufacturer's instructions), sanded old coatings, common types of wood.
  • Gloss level: matte (approx. 15 GU ±3 at 85°).
Important: after activation, the product has a limited pot life. Always follow the information on the label and in the technical data sheet. Work in a well-ventilated area and use a respirator, gloves and safety glasses.
