Description

2K PRO is a professional gloss 2K clear coat designed for a brilliant appearance and long-lasting protection. The two-component polyurethane system with an integrated hardener cures into a highly durable surface. It is suitable for exterior and interior use, for clear coating effect paints (Chameleon, Candy, pearls), basecoat and topcoat systems, and repair work.

How to use the paint

  • Shake for 2 minutes → activate the hardener (pin at the bottom) → shake again for 2 minutes, then leave to stand for 15 minutes.
  • Application: 15–25 cm from the surface, 1–2 coats (approx. 40 µm), with 10–15 minutes between coats.
  • Conditions: ideally 18–25 °C, humidity 40–50%. Always carry out a test spray first.
  • Coverage: approx. 0.5–0.75 m² / 400 ml (with 2 coats).
  • Drying times: dust-dry in approx. 20 min, touch-dry in 2 h, polishable overnight.
  • Pot life after activation: approx. 24 h (at 20 °C).

Substrate compatibility (selection):

  • Waterborne and solvent-based coating systems (recoatable according to the manufacturer's instructions), sanded old coatings, common types of wood.
  • Gloss level: gloss (approx. 90 GU ±5 at 20°).
Important: after activation, the product has a limited pot life. Always follow the information on the label and in the technical data sheet. Work in a well-ventilated area and use a respirator, gloves and safety glasses.
