Description

2K PRO is a professional 2K epoxy primer in a 400 ml spray can for reliable surface preparation. The epoxy primer provides excellent sealing and isolation, improves adhesion and creates anti-corrosion protection before the topcoat is applied.

Where it is suitable

How to use the paint

  1. Surface preparation: Degrease the surface, remove rust and dust, and sand to a matte finish. For plastics, use a suitable adhesion primer.
  2. 2K activation: Shake the can thoroughly. Remove the white activation pin from the cap, place it onto the bottom of the can and press firmly. Shake well again.
  3. Test: Always carry out a test spray on a sample first.
  4. Application: Spray from a distance of approx. 15–25 cm in 2–3 thin coats, allowing short flash-off times between coats.
  5. Coverage: approx. 0.5–0.75 m² per 400 ml can at 2 spray coats.
  6. Drying and next steps: Allow to dry completely before sanding (typically until the next day). For overcoating, follow the recommended flash-off and recoating times of the system used. After activation, the pot life is limited, so the product should ideally be used within 1–2 days.
  7. Conditions and safety: Apply at 18–25 °C and low humidity. Work in a well-ventilated area and use a respirator, gloves and safety glasses. After use, clean the valve with a short spray burst while holding the can upside down.
